Bit & Jay ~ The Day After Session in Fiji

Here we are, friends.  The second–and last– installment of the photos from the Fiji wedding of Bit & Jay.  Here we have the Day After Session (a.k.a. Trash the Dress…even though I hate to think we “trashed” that beautiful Claire Pettibone wedding gown.  I’d like to say instead we “enhanced” it.  What do you think?).  I am most proud of these images and so excited to bring them to you today!

I’m going to start with this photo simply because it comes complete with the Fijian greeting, “Bula!” meaning “hello!”.  The people of Fiji are so genuinely friendly and happy, you will hear “Bula!” at least 25 times a day there.  It’s wonderful :)

The start of a new beginning, a new life for Bit & Jay.  We couldn’t be more honored to have been the ones chosen to capture this once-in-a-lifetime adventure for the two of you.  Thank you, so much, from our hearts to yours.  May your love always remain on “Fiji time” :)

Love,

Jenny & Adrian Grise

Fiji has to be one of the best spots for a beach wedding. It is so beautiful there.

9999 The smaller details, like as fabric bows or embroidery make it easy for them to give a specific measure of panache into the most everyday just about every outfit. We were being like “ok, you’ll be able to marry Harry!” May possibly she in the future be Prince Harry’sthen? “Nah! No!”.

Bit & Jay ~ Fiji!

Who:  Elizabeth & Jason (or Bit & Jay), a super-romantic, genuine & loving couple whom Adrian and I were extremely fortunate to have worked with
What:  Their unbelievable wedding on Castaway Island, Fiji

This is installment one of two.  WHY?  Because I really can’t be expected to narrow my favorites down any further than where we are right now.   Oh and it’s my blog :)

SO!  Without further ado, here are the rehearsal & wedding images.  Stay tuned for the simply mind-blowing Trash the Dress (or Day-After) session tomorrow morning!!

***PLEASE be patient as the photos load!  There are a lot and they are all worth it, I promise!***

The set-up at the rehearsal dinner the night before (you can see Adrian on the right! I totally missed him the first time I edited this photo. He had to point himself out to me.)

*sigh* isn’t she so pretty?  And this is even before the stunning Claire Pettibone wedding dress!

Meanwhile, Adrian hung out with the guys.  This is Jason & his dad, Jeff.  While I didn’t know Bit, Jay or any of their family/friends before this wedding (and none of them live in Indiana), it turns out Jeff went to the IU music school!  Small world!

The first glimpse!  They are SO cute (and is that dress NOT stunning?  I told you. Oh, how I love Claire Pettibone!)!

Bit’s sister, Kerrie (and the reason she’s called “Bit”: Kerrie couldn’t pronounce “Elizabeth” when they were little, so “Bit” it was! So cute :) )  Kerrie took this trip at 6 months pregnant.  Go Kerrie!  Pregnant ladies unite!

You and Adrian did an absolutely amazing job of capturing so many wonderful moments. Your photograph’s bring all of the joy flooding back into my heart. Jason and Elizabeth both look incredible, and their love for each other is so well captured by your incredible talent. The island shots are simply beautiful, and just make me smile as I remember every day’s events.
