Meredith loves her Chihuahuas! This particular one wore her very own wedding dress the entire day of the wedding. That’s right, you read that correctly. And it was awesome! Here, Meredith was taking a break to talk to Randee on the phone.

You may have noticed something new if you’ve perused the site lately.  My husband, Adrian, has decided to come on board full-time as Grise Photography’s second shooter!  That’s right!  We are now a husband-and-wife photography team and could NOT be more excited!  Adrian has helped out with so many different kinds of weddings from all over the world with me, so he has the experience, the knowledge, the good-looks (if I do say so myself ) and the great sense of humor to carry us through any wedding day with aplomb.   What does this mean for you?

You get a husband and wife as your photographers for your wedding.  Who knows a wedding better (and the unpredictability it can bring) than two people who had one themselves?  No one, that’s who.  And we’re in love with each other.  Who wouldn’t want to add a little more love to a day like their wedding day?  Again, no one.  We’re goofy, fun, ridiculous and professional all at the same time.  We know how to communicate well.  And of course, we have the experience.

So much fun!!!!!!!  Jasmine & Craig:  Emily (second shooter, in case anyone forgot) and I had the best time at your wedding.  Every detail was meticulously thought-out and it showed.  May the love and laughter continue throughout your lives.  You two will always hold a special place in my heart.

On Monday, September 13, 2010 at 6:03pm, the Grise family proudly welcomed our new baby girl, Aven Sophia, into the world.  The birth was peaceful, intimate and emotional.  The September sun was shining through the window as Aven cried for the first time.  It was the most amazing experience in the world.

So much I love about this wedding:  1) Courtney’s amazing silk champagne dress, 2) bridesmaids in two different shades of blue (why pick one?), 3) the Mason Jars on all the reception tables, 4) that AMAZING cake, 5)  Courtney’s lab-created real yellow diamond engagement ring, 6) that they got married on Friday the 13th, and 7) all of the below:

From the cocktail hour straight into the first dance.  I love this because all the guests are crowded around them in a circle as they dance.  That’s a lot of good, loving energy!

Courtney is cracking up here because Andrew is taking a 3rd bite of cake!  And why shouldn’t he?  Brides & grooms:  ENJOY your wedding cake!!

Party time!!!  I told you Courtney & Andrew know how to have fun.  They danced ALL night!  Also they had blue glowsticks and rings everywhere.  LOVED this!
